Now that Diana’s frankenputer is fully assembled and operable, I’m looking to unload the rest of my unused computer parts. I’ve been able to put together one almost, but not quite, complete computer with them. It’s free to a good (or any) home.

What it Has

  • AMD K6-2 450 MHz Processor
  • 160 MB RAM
  • 4x CD-ROM
  • 3.5 GB Hard Drive
  • 4 MB (I think) Video Card
  • 10/100 Mb Network Card
  • Generic Sound Card
  • 14 Inch Monitor

What it Doesn’t Have

  • AT Power Supply
  • Operating System
  • Modem
  • Keyboard
  • Mouse

What you Get

A desktop computer that is perfectly sufficient for your basic e-mail, web browsing, word processing stuff. A great file server or low-traffic web or mail server.

What you Don’t Get

A guarantee that all these parts will play nicely together. Delivery (unless you’re close to somewhere I’m going to be anyway).

As far as I know, all parts should work. Also included are the manual for the motherboard and a driver CD for the sound card.
