It looks like we’re going to Release the Bats after all (as if there was any question, really). The alternative was seeing Low play at Spaceland but, while I love Low and think they’re really good live, Sarai and I have both seen them play before and we’re not really in the mood for that type of thing tonight.
Part of what tipped me over was getting an e-mail from Mike and a phone call from Stef to tell me that they’re emerging from their winter hibernation up in the mountains and coming out for the club. That’s a rare enough occurrence that I should go out of my way to be there for it.
