Vegan ice cream

First, happy birthday Diana!

The party the other night was pretty good. Our mint chocolate chip “ice cream” went over well, the only problem being that we didn’t make enough of it. I put ice cream in quotation marks because, unbeknownst to anyone at the time it was served, it wasn’t real ice cream at all, it was completely vegan. We made it with half a block of soft tofu and vanilla soy milk. Ha!

With the best timing ever, Apple just announced new, higher-capacity, iPods. I was planning on ordering my 15 GB iPod this week; now I can get a 20 GB model for the same price. Nice.

You know, I didn’t have any ice cream because I am lactose intolerant. Nobody bothered to tell me it was vegan. You all suck.

The ice cream was great and you could have told me it was vegan because I would have eaten it anyway.

You’re actually the second person to say something along those lines, that you would have had some if you knew. We deliberately didn’t tell anyone first because a lot of people have preconceptions about things like that.
