The Calexico show last night was great. You know how at a lot of shows, even good ones, you’re kinda glad when it’s over because it’s hot and you’re getting tired of standing there in the crowd? And then there are some shows that you just don’t want to end? Most shows tend to be the former, this one was not.

I can appreciate that they’re not going to appeal to everyone, but everyone should still check them out. They have MP3s on Epitonic and their own web site. There are only two tracks on Epitonic, but I mention them anyway because one of them is Crystal Frontier, which is one of my favorites.

One of the opening acts was Bob Log III, which was the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen. Sarai and I booed a little, but no one joined in, probably because we were standing right behind a group of frat boys who were obviously there to see him. Lame.
